BLOCK RELEASE Stories – 20 Moments When Everything Changed
Constellations are not a theory, but a flesh-and-blood experience. Sometimes it’s a quiet relief, sometimes a brutal confrontation. A single realization can be enough for the burden of years to fall off your shoulders.
But what does block release really mean? Here you’ll find 20 examples below, in the spirit of the classic or traditional family constellations, which on Nelles’ seven-level map of consciousness primarily works on the second level.
For example, when someone carries anger toward their mother or father, but during the constellation sees their fate for the first time, and love filled with compassion awakens in them, while the anger begins to dissolve.
Or when someone delays an important decision for years (changing jobs, starting a new business, moving, divorcing), and after the constellation suddenly feels a calm, inner certainty: he knows what he has to do.
When someone keeps repeating the same relationship patterns, and during a constellation realizes that, out of loyalty to one of her parents, she doesn’t allow happiness into her life.
Or when someone struggles with migraine for years, and in the constellation it becomes clear that this is the bodily sign of an unprocessed grief — after the realization, the symptom begins to ease.
When someone repeatedly “ruins” their own opportunities, and the constellation shows that they are following the fate of a condemned or excluded family member, or that they do not dare to surpass their parents fate — after the release, they can see themselves and their choices from a new perspective, and finally allow themselves to flourish.
Or when someone always feels “not good enough,” and the constellation reveals that in fact an old family secret weighs on their soul — and once it becomes visible, the shame begins to dissolve.
When someone has long been unable to sleep peacefully, and the constellation shows that their body carries an unconscious fear — after voicing it, the body begins to calm down.
When someone has kept silent all their life, not daring to express their own feelings, and in the constellation can finally say: “this hurt me” — and with that, a silence carried for generations is released.
When someone realizes that they treat their own child the same way they were once hurt, and the constellation makes them able to step out of this inherited cycle.
Or when a woman always feels rejected and alone, and in the constellation she recognizes the aunt who was excluded from the family. Loneliness transforms into love.
When a man always hides behind alcohol. In the constellation he sees his father drunk on the ground, and feels: “this is not my fate.”
When a man hides behind sports, and the constellation reveals that he prefers to run instead of facing his relationship with women.
When a woman repeatedly enters abusive relationships, then in the constellation realizes: she was carrying her grandmother’s suffering. The chain is broken.
Or when someone hates their mother. In the constellation they see: the mother was also just an abandoned child. The hatred dissolves.
When a woman cannot allow her partner to come close. The constellation reveals: she carried within her the memory of a hidden abortion. The ice begins to crack.
When someone always fails at work, and in the constellation he feels: he is loyal to his grandfather, who went impoverished because of the communist regime. The loyalty dissolves, his own path opens.
Or when a woman has been trying to get pregnant for years. In the constellation she mourns her never-born sibling. Life wakes up in her womb.
Someone is always lying in bed, depressed, and in the constellation they see: they are carrying the fate of a forgotten ancestor. The weight falls off.
Or when a man sabotages his every relationship, and the constellation confronts him with his guilt: “with my happiness, I betray my father.” The guilt softens.
When someone constantly suffers from outbursts of rage, and in the constellation sees their grandfather, driven mad by war, and the rage dissolves into tears.
And so on…
Block releases are not always spectacular, but they are always perceptible — and often happens in the form of small inner shifts.
Block release is like a long-standing inner knot finally loosening, unraveling, and the person begins to breathe and exist more easily — or the next day he wakes up looking at a previously difficult situation in a new way. In other words: an awakening, an opening, an expansion of consciousness, usually accompanied by a subtle, profound inner movement, an inner impulse, which then later unfolds its effect through emotional, cognitive, and behavioral changes or transformations in the client’s life.
